Bahamas Telecommunications Company Ltd., a subsidiary of Cable & Wireless Communications PLC, has deployed Comverse ONE(R) Real-Time Billing & Active Customer Management Solution.
BTC, a provider of broadband services and fixed-line, has deployed Comverse BSS, VAS and mobile Internet solutions for new service enablement and monetization from Comverse. It currently has approximately 19,000 broadband customers, 388,000 mobile customers and 123,000 fixed line customers.
Comverse ONE will help Bahamas Telecommunications in business transformation. It will optimize its new 4G infrastructure. With the help of Comverse ONE, Bahamas Telecommunication aims at maintaining its leadership position when the markets in the Bahamas get deregulated by seamlessly moving toward convergence which is the strategic vision of C&W group.
