New Relic Enters into Partnerships with Mobile App Big Wigs

New Relic Inc. announced its plan to work alongside the who’s-who group of companies that specialize in SaaS and mobile applications. Appcelerator and Stackmob are just two of the companies that will be working with New Relic in order to put together a tool that will offer up the ability to monitor native applications on a 24 x 7 basis.

New Relic has put together a tool that will be able to give users an unprecedented look into the real-time health and operability of native applications. By using this suite of software, users will be able to get better and more efficient looks into what is going on with Android and iOS applications.

The companies that have partnered with New Relic will have insight into how their customers are using their applications and when. They will also be able to see when an app is creating or having problems before the real problems begin.

By doing this, companies that team up with New Relic will be able to cut down on the number of customer contacts they go through. That will also mean a vastly more satisfied customer base in the long run. Customer service departments for these companies will also have much quicker response times because they will be looking at the issues as they materialize, instead of having them pointed out after the fact.

Jeff Haynie, CEO of Appcelerator, talked about the benefits that his company can get out of its partnership with New Relic. "Mobile developers can't afford to spend a lot of time hunting down performance issues. The addition of New Relic to Appcelerator's Titanium 3.0 platform offers a superior solution for building and managing great apps. Now, with real-time, real-world visibility into app performance, teams can quickly diagnose and address issues before they affect a brand's reputation. We are very pleased to make New Relic for Mobile Apps available in Appcelerator's Open Mobile Marketplace and as a key component of our enterprise ecosystem."
