Wunderlist Updates App For Android and iOS

Wunderlist has long been one of those applications that comes in quite handy when you are trying to put together a party or just keep your day to day operations straight. The application has been thought of as one of the top task manager apps for a while now but hasn’t been able to crack the cream of the crop just yet. The company hopes its new UI and feature list for the pay version will change all that.

The Wunderlist Pro has been revamped in hopes of bringing in more users on both the Android and iOS platform. The fact that Wunderlist is bringing its new features to Android is news in itself, since the last launch only saw some of the new tweaks to iOS and its webapp. The new UI is actually available on Windows and Android apps. You will also be able to get the Wunderlist 2 features on any platform should you be cool with paying the $5 a month fee.

If you don’t want to pay for the fee, you will still get plenty of features, even if you are using Android.  Free users on Android and Windows now get the Action Bar, which makes it quite a bit easier to switch between different task thread. The other main difference between the paid version and the one that is free is that you will be able to get unlimited sub-threads if you are paying for the subscription.

Wunderlist is most likely attempting to get its name, and its features out there as a way to undercut the Yahoo acquisition of Astrid. Even if that isn’t the main goal, the feature tweaks were badly needed and should make the product that much better in the long run. You can get the either the free version or the pay version from the Android and iOS respective app stores.
