HTC One Mini Info Leaks Online

HTC is a company that seems to be in free-fall. One way a struggling firm can pull itself out of a tailspin is by coming up with a device that is uber popular. If a company is desperate for good press, they can even leak photos of that device to get the general public excited about the impending release. HTC might have taken that advice to heart as pictures of what many believe is the HTC One Mini have started floating around the Internet.

While the Engadget, a web magazine that covers gadgets and consumer electronics, is actually not sure whether the phone that is making the rounds is the HTC One Mini or the HTC M4, most other industry experts believe they know what it is. Whatever you want to call the new smartphone, there are a couple things that most have reported beyond a shadow of a doubt. The new phone looks to be sporting a 4.3-inch screen and has a 720p display.

The site that started circulating the pictures originally said that the new HTC phone comes complete with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The phone also supposedly has a 4-megapixel camera that is equipped with UltraPixel technology. That same website claims that this new phone will be hitting store shelves in late August and will sell for around $500.

It should be pointed out that the fact that a 4.3-inch screened phone carries the moniker of “mini” tells us just how popular large screen phones have become. Smartphones in general are only getting more popular as we go deeper into the 21st century. It seems that the more popular smartphones get, the bigger those phones have to be. While HTC is apparently trying to buck that trend and take a step back, they’re still pushing out a rather large screened phone. Whether this is in fact the HTC One Mini or branded as something else, more info is undoubtedly on the horizon.
