Aio Launches New 4G LTE Network

Aio has made a name for itself as one of the up and coming companies that is able to offer contract free cellular service. Now the company is strengthening its standing with the launch of 4G LTE service. The company has also announced that it has expanded its market into Fort Myers and Naples, Florida. The company says that at the time of launch, the 4G LTE network will be covering as many as 200 million people.

This announcement is just another sign that the company is leading the charge for people who do not want to be bolted down with a contract through one of the leading carriers in the country. The fact that Aio has managed to launch this LTE network means it has actually beaten some rather large carriers to the punch in certain regions of the country. No-contract cell phones are getting more and more popular as the bigger carriers offer more expensive services that fall short of what smaller companies like Aio can give to their users.

Aio has made the transition to 4G rather easy, issuing an over the air sim card “push” that will make any existing devices that should be able to access 4G, LTE compatible. Among the devices that will now be able to operate on a 4G network is the ZTE Overture, which runs on Android’s Jellybean OS. That particular phone has a 4” LCD touchscreen and front and rear facing cameras. The memory on that phone has the ability to be moved all the way up to 32GB.

Aio offers three different rate plans for its customers, ranging from $35 a month all the way up to $70 per month. All of the plans include unlimited talk/text/data. The differences in the cost of the plans are how much access someone has to the LTE network.
