Comview Adds AirWatch Enterprise Mobility Management to its Total Talk Management Portal

Comview Corporation, a provider of cloud-based telecom expense management (TEM) services, recently entered into a partnership with mobile security and enterprise mobility management (EMM) provider AirWatch. This partnership allows Comview to add EMM to its portfolio of TEM and call accounting solutions.

The company will not only resell AirWatch EMM software, however; it will also integrate it deeply with the Total Talk Management TEM portal, resulting in an easy way for enterprises to manage and report on all of their telecommunications expenses and assets.

Even prior to this agreement, customers were able to save time by reporting on AirWatch EMM data via Comview's Total Talk Management portal, including calculating departmental charge backs automatically. With expanded integration, telecom managers now have access to EMM information within the same interface used for their wireless expense management and TEM.

Furthermore, Comview is now better able to support customers' BYOD needs as those that opt for AirWatch EMM integration will also receive Comview's award-winning managed services in order to further simplify daily management.

“The proliferation of mobile devices in the workplace — including BYOD — has created new challenges for organizations when it comes to managing telecom security and expenses. This has led to a strong need for EMM solutions (also known as Mobile Device Management or MDM) to securely manage mobile assets,” said John Perri, Comview CEO and founder. “Comview is excited to expand our AirWatch EMM capabilities to round out our comprehensive TEM solutions and provide customers with even greater value.”

AirWatch expanded its base mobile device security and management (MDM) offering earlier this year, adding mobile application management (MAM); "enterprise mobility management" is in fact a term created to encompass both MDM and MAM. The AirWatch EMM platform provides customers with ensured regulatory compliance, minimized internal risk, in addition to greater end user satisfaction and privacy. This applies to corporate, shared and personal BYOD devices.
