Experian Launches New Mobile Consulting Practice

Global information services company Experian is looking to help companies take advantage of the growing use of mobile devices for banking with the launch of a mobile consulting practice. In particular, this practice is geared toward helping organizations “acquire, grow and protect customers” in the mobile space.

This news comes a couple of weeks after Experian’s Marketing Services arm introduced a retention-based e-mail solution designed to provide marketers with a more holistic view of customers. Similarly, the company’s Global Consulting Practice has gathered the unique expertise needed to provide analysis, insight and recommendations that will help organizations better navigate the mobile landscape.

In fact, Experian showcased one of its new senior consultants focused on the mobile market, Cherian Abraham. Boasting over 15 years of experience, Abraham has a deep understanding of both the mobile and payments industries, which can be put to use helping financial services and retailers develop strategies to increase market penetration in addition to creating customer-centric services for the digital channel.

"The mobile space has become a complex challenge for many of our clients," said Shannon Lois, vice president of consulting at Experian's Global Consulting Practice. "With this in mind, we have established consulting services that will help our clients understand the opportunities to expand their mobile strategies and solutions to meet tomorrow's customer requirements."

The Global Consulting Practice will focus particularly on assisting clients with mobile customer acquisitions and offer management. In terms of the former, Experian’s consultants will help organizations expand the front end of acquisitions to attract more qualified customers, ultimately increasing the conversion rate through more effective use of technology and eliminating redundant strategies.

As for offer management, consultants will help organizations develop card marketing programs. These will help drive profitable growth through the delivery of relevant customer offers that align with an organization’s products.
