Telespree is Selected by FreedomPop to Deliver 3G/4G LTE Real-Time Data Services

Telespree Communications is a company has been helping its customers monetize mobile services on phones, smartphones, PCs, tablets, and other data devices. Millions of mobile subscribers have used Telespree solutions to activate and manage their voice and data subscriptions.

According to Telespree, its goal is to help companies expand the appeal of mobile broadband with pay-as-you-go plans. It also has innovative bundled solutions designed to reach new markets and customers. Perhaps this is why Telespree announced today, October 22, 2013 that it was selected by FreedomPop as the preferred provider of real-time data services for its 3G/4G LTE smartphones and data devices.

FreedomPop is a freemium Internet service provider based in the U.S. It is considered to be a free Internet company. It will use Telespree's real-time metering capabilities to ensure that its users will receive all of the value they expect from the nation's first 100 percent Free High Speed Wireless Internet provider.

FreedomPop's CEO, Stephen Stokols, feels that the company made the right decision. "We're very happy to have selected Telespree to support our business. As we continue to bring new services to our customers, we need strong, but flexible technology capabilities. Telespree's ability to not only monitor but also differentiate between data usage types, including VoIP, is important in enhancing our users' experience."

By using Telespree's Active Session Monitoring Service, FreedomPop can control access to Voice over IP (VoIP) and data on its recently launched FreedomPop Phone. This, it believes will provide an enhanced and tailored user experience.

Because Telespree not only monitors, but also distinguishes data usage, it enables FreedomPop to offer different voice calling, data plans and upgrade options to customers. Subscriber sessions can then be redirected, in real-time, to welcome screens, plan pages, advertising partner destinations, or social media outlets.

"FreedomPop's disruptive business model is a great example of innovation in our industry and Telespree's technology and services were purpose-built to provide the flexibility and scalability that such a business requires. We are pleased to provide our real-time services to FreedomPop and look forward to supporting their business as it grows,” said Ellen Schwab, Telespree's CEO.

At the beginning of the month, FreedomPop launched a full-feature mobile service that gives you 200 anytime minutes, 500 text messages and 500 megabytes of free data. All this delivered on a refurbished HTC Evo Design handset.

In addition, it also recently announced its first device, the FreedomSpot 5580 LTE mobile hotspot. It will run on Sprint's expanded nationwide LTE network. FreedomPop plans to introduce several other devices on Sprint's LTE network in the next couple of months.
