Coronet joins StarHub's Cyber Security Centre of Excellence

Are you searching for top quality online security? The people of Singapore have the latest and most up to date option.

Coronet, a cyber security software company, announced their partnership with StarHub’s Cyber Security Centre of Excellence, which is Singapore’s second largest info-communications company.

“StarHub is committed to building and extending the COE’s footprint to drive value and results in cyber security,” noted Dr. Lim Woo Lip, VP, Cyber Security & Data Analytics, StarHub.

How is Coronet fighting the threats on Wifi and cellular networks? WiFi and cellular network attacks are rapidly gaining favor with cyber criminals. This is occurring at places such as hotels, airports, public places and offices. Once a device is connected to a network compromised by an attacker, the attacker gains full access to the device, and to enterprise resources, without being detected by any of the conventional defenses.

With its solution, Coronet arms organizations with real-time visibility to wireless threats on networks around devices, and provides policy-based control on the user’s connectivity to networks and their access to enterprise resources.

StarHub’s COE serves as a strategic hub for driving forward Singapore’s cyber security ecosystem in the country. The COE brings together the brightest, most renowned security experts to tackle global cyber threats.

Many organizations have been taking notice of StarHub’s COE and have affiliated themselves with it. Several industry partners, academia and public-sector organizations kicked off the alliance in the initial formation of StarHub’s COE, which includes Blue Coat, Cyberbit, Fortinet, Wedge Networks, Nanyang Polytechnic, Republic Polytechnic, Temasek Polytechnic and Singapore University of Technology and Design.

“We welcome our newest partner, Coronet, to StarHub’s Cyber Security Centre of Excellence and look forward to their contributions. Their distinct technology will fortify StarHub’s offerings. With Coronet’s technology, StarHub’s customers will be confident that they are always connected to a safe network,” said Lip.

Through the StarHub, Coronet has become Singapore’s top defender against online security threats.
