VSS Monitoring has announced that the company will be participating in the MultiService Forum (MSF) Voice over LTE (VoLTE) Interoperability Event in September 2011.
The MSF will host the VoLTE IOT 2011 Event in the Vodafone Centre for Test and Innovation in Dusseldorf and the China Mobile Research Institute Lab in Beijing in September 2011.
The test event is backed by the GSMA, and will be hosted by MultiService Forum and mobile operators Vodafone and China Mobile in the Vodafone Test and Innovation Centre in Dusseldorf, Germany, and the China Mobile Research Institute Laboratory in Beijing, China. As part of the proposed GSMA PRD IR.92 / One Voice global standard, the event is designed to demonstrate seamless incorporation of non-circuit switched voice in 4G LTE, the company stated in a press release.

"4G telecommunications is undergoing explosive growth, and this event will be a major milestone in its roll out worldwide.”

Alongside Vodafone and China Mobile, VSS Monitoring's commitment to the VoLTE IOT, highlights the significance of this technology for the telecommunications industry, the company stated.
