ContactLab Teams with ScientiaMobile to Deliver Mobile Specific Reporting and Analytics Solutions

ContactLab, an Italian provider of digital direct marketing services, and ScientiaMobile, a provider of open-source WURFL framework commercially, announced their agreement to deliver mobile specific reporting and analytics solutions to customers.

Under the agreement, ContactLab will become a commercial adopter of ScientiaMobile's device detection products and services. The digital direct marketing services company will also rely on the WURFL APIs and Device Description Repository to provide mobile specific reporting and analytics solutions to its customers.

The deal will also enable ContactLab to offer mobile optimized websites and landing pages to support customer marketing campaigns.

“The need for mobile-specific reporting and support of the 'mobile channel' has been growing at an overwhelming pace over the past few years,” said Davide Migliavacca, chief technology officer of ContactLab, in a statement. “To achieve our goal, we adopted WURFL some time ago, and reaffirmed the choice with ScientiaMobile when their commercial offering became available.”

ContactLab has been the first vendor in its field to adopt commercially licensed and supported WURFL by reinstating its cooperation with ScientiaMobile.

Selecting ScientiaMobile was a natural choice for ContactLab. ContactLab believed in the reliability of commercially supported software when it comes to integration with its platform.

“The adoption of WURFL by ContactLab, including the tools and commercial support that ScientiaMobile reserves for paying customers, will enable the company to extend the functionality and the platform service levels offered to ContactLab customers,” said Krishna Guda, chief executive officer, ScientiaMobile.

RecentlyMessage Systems, a provider of message management solutions and services, announced that ContactLab selected its Mobile Momentum solution, which will enable the Italy-based company to integrate its messaging channels into a comprehensively managed system.

Solutions offered by Message Systems help marketing service providers, e-mail service providers, carriers and Internet service providers (ISP), social networks and large enterprises manage large volumes of business-critical e-mail and other forms of digital messaging.
