Alvarion Releases New BreezeCELL Solution, Based on TrueActive DAS Technology

Alvarion Ltd., a provider of 4G networks in the Broadband Wireless Access market, recently introduced new BreezeCELL solution, which is a cutting edge, active end-to-end system for optimal capacity and coverage.

Based on TrueActive DAS technology, BreezeCELL is the first solution Alvarion is introducing as part of its new Wireless Capacity and Coverage offering.

Alvarion's new offering, founded on the company's proven leadership in radio and access technologies, provides an unmatched wealth of knowledge and experience to allow operators to get the most out of every megahertz of spectrum they hold.

Operators, with the help of BreezeCELL are provided with an easy path to ubiquitous indoor coverage.

To provide both superior cost performance and advanced functionality, multi-technology, single cable MIMO and much more, it leverages a unique flat architecture.  Its remote unit is all-inclusive with an antenna inside, which helps reduce installation complexity and CAPEX.

To meet customer expectations, operators have to consider LTE, MIMO, additional sectors and device-to-base station quality of connectivity," commented Ron Agam, General Manager, Wireless Capacity and Coverage, Alvarion, in a release. "We have designed TrueActive technology to tackle this challenge."

Eran Gorev, President and CEO of Alvarion, said, "Alvarion's Wireless Coverage and Capacity Solutions will enable network operators to overcome these challenges with the most efficient network, providing their customers the best possible level of service, while reducing risk of churn."
