NewBay to Lead Discussion on 4G Social Networking Trends

NewBay Software has been selected to speak on the 4G Social Networking and Business Model panel at the upcoming International Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
4G is fourth generation wireless technology and is expected to provide universal access and device portability by allowing different wireless networks to interoperate.
NewBay delivers digital lifestyle solutions to carriers, and has been particularly successful in driving the development of mobile Social Networking technology and usage. It recently launched LifeCache Social Networking Solution 2.0.
With NewBay Software, subscribers can create, store, view and share user generated content. The LifeCache product suite allows carriers to deliver an integrated set of converged rich-media services including photo and video album/blogs, social networking, handset clients and messaging and contacts synchronization services.
NewBay’s Chief Marketing Officer, Dr. Nagappan Arunachalam (Arun) will join fellow executives and experts in the social networking industry to help define the best business model for the emerging mobile social networking market as well as to examine issues concerning business in the 4G era. Marc Davis, chief scientist of Yahoo! Connected Life and John Faith, general manager and vice president of Myspace Mobile are the other speakers.
The Social Networking Solution 1.0 is currently used by millions of subscribers across the world. It offers a comprehensive mobile social networking experience within an operator environment that allows subscribers to fully immerse themselves in their favorite social networks, right from their handsets.
Dublin, Ireland-based NewBay was founded in 2002 and delivers commercial services for carriers including T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, Telefonica O2, Alltel Wireless, Orange Group, Vodafone and Swisscom.
