FanFare's Testing Solution Wins TMC's LTE Visionary Award

Mountain View, Calif.-based Fanfare reportedly announced that it received the 2009 LTE Visionary Award for its iTest 3.4 product at Technology Marketing Corporation’s 4G Wireless Evolution Conference program. The award was presented with Crossfire Media.
ITest has found wide application as a testing solution for core network systems for major service providers and as a test automation solution for large network equipment manufacturers. The solution is now being used to test equipment used in services for a variety of complex technologies such as LTE, IMS, femtocells, and WiMax. Through its advanced test automation capabilities, iTest 3.4 reduces time to test, thereby shortening time to market.
"Service providers and network equipment manufacturers are paying increased attention to the role of testing as Quality of Service becomes absolutely critical to delivering 4G and LTE services," said Tom Ryan, president and CEO of Fanfare, in a statement. "We are extremely pleased that TMC and Crossfire Media have recognized our strategic role in this process. With iTest, customers can expedite the overall testing process without sacrificing quality, significantly enhancing the bottom line."
"Fanfare's role in advancing 4G through LTE development is worthy of being selected as recipient of the 4GWE LTE Visionary Award," said Carl Ford, co-founder and community developer, Crossfire Media, in a statement. "Fanfare is an innovative company and a strategic player in the next evolution of solutions."
Technology Marketing Corporation is an integrated global media company that allows clients to build communities in print, in-person and online. Among TMC’s major publications are Customer Interaction Solutions, INTERNET TELEPHONY, Unified Communications, and IMS Magazine. TMC tests its new products in its own on-site laboratories, TMC Labs. The 2009 LTE Visionary Award winners are published in the October 4GWE e-newsletter and on the 4GWE Web site.
Fanfare specializes in testing solutions for service providers (SPs), network equipment manufacturers, and enterprises. MobilityTechzone recently reported that Fanfare has provided its integrated testing solution to Agilent Technologies.
