The conference, which is held January 29 to February 1, 2013 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, will have something for everyone from Asterisk, Telcom Reseller, and Microsoft Lync’s workshops to presidents and CEOs of technology companies as keynote speakers.

The latest to add its name to the lineup is Pulse Supply, the leading supplier of enabling technologies for next generation networks. The company will be partnering with EION Wireless at the expo to debut the companies’ brand-new access point technology called, StarAccess. The new product line will consist of multiple Wi-Fi products that provide more than 3km of coverage from its access point.

“Pulse focuses on products and services for carriers, ISPs, VARs, government agencies, and enterprise customers. Pulse also supplies resellers, VARs, VADs, and other organizations who benefit from our manufacturer relationships,” said Pulse.

Together with EION Wireless, a global provider of Broadband Wireless Access products that enable effective, economic, and secure wireless connections, StarAccess was born.

“I am very excited to have the opportunity to introduce this new dual band product into the EION portfolio. Combined with StarPlus for backhaul, StarAccess gives is the ability to create a wireless network from the fiber PoP directly to the end user device,” said EION Wireless president Dale Squires. “We are thrilled to be working with our Gold Channel Partners Pulse Supply to bring this new product to Service Providers and Enterprise network Operators in the United States.”

StarAccess will let Internet users that are in need of more bandwidth for their devices take advantage of an access point with more coverage than ever before. According to a statement, the device is expected to provide coverage to a large outdoor area.

“StarAccess is an outdoor 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi access point which can provide coverage for large outdoor areas such as stadiums, campuses, outdoor malls, airports, and train stations. Thanks to the high receive sensitivity, users can access the network at a distance of up to 2km from the AP using a regular smartphone, tablet, or laptop.”
