OnShift Offers Mobile Management Solution

OnShift offers online scheduling and employee communication solutions designed to help individuals and facilities with long-term care stay on top of staffing and labor. Now, the company will begin offering clients a new mobile application giving them access to staffing and labor data on-the-go.

The new application called, OnShift Mobile, was designed to extend the functionality of the OnShift’s staff scheduling software with “key workforce” data, allowing executives to make more informed decisions.

“OnShift recognizes that today’s senior care executives have demanding workloads and are not tied to their desktops. OnShift Mobile is the solution for putting staffing analysis at their fingertips,” stated Mark Woodka, CEO, OnShift.

“With so much change, revenue pressure, and uncertainties in senior care, executives must prioritize efficiencies, cost control and quality. OnShift is committed to partnering with providers on these initiatives and our new product release is another step to helping them achieve significant operational, clinical and financial improvements through staffing and labor management,” said Woodka.

The new application will offer a slew of services including: access to tracking and reporting labor costs, analyzing staffing levels, comparing overtime and occupancy status, and the availability to view predictive analysis to pinpoint staffing issues prior to an incident occurring.

“I love that I can glance at OnShift Mobile to get a meaningful understanding of the staffing situation across Holland communities,” stated Janet Harris, CEO, Holland Management. “OnShift is a critical part of our organization in driving the efficiencies, predictability, cost control and quality we need to stay successful in senior care. This new release from OnShift strengthens our staffing practices even further with insightful data that I can view as I’m walking into a property and take action on, no matter where I am.”

The application is currently available for download through Apple’s App Store – but it will require a subscription to OnShift’s online platform.
