4G LTE-Powered Samsung Galaxy S III Coming to Verizon Wireless

Verizon Wireless and Samsung Mobile have offered  Samsung Galaxy S III lovers one more thing to smile about, by announcing the phone’s availability on American’s largest 4 LTE network, the 4G LTE-powered Samsung Galaxy S 3. Samsung Galaxy S III lovers will now be able to enjoy the many features of the phone on the 4G LTE network. The phone, which runs on the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, will feature apps like the Share Shot, Color and advanced camera capabilities.

Users of the phone will be able to create temporary photo sharing networks with people in the vicinity using Share Shot. The S Beam’s one touch sharing feature will allow friends to share photos, videos and documents by touching two Galaxy S III devices back-to-back. Live video broadcasts can now be shared with Facebook friends using the Verizon Wireless exclusive feature on the Color app.

Galaxy S III also makes multi-functionality take on a whole new meaning. The 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display allows you to watch HD video while surfing the web at 4G LTE speeds with Pop Up Play or simply texting friends. Videos can be opened and played on a small window while you use the rest of the screen to type e-mails, update your social networks or organize your calendar. The Galaxy S III hardware makes all this possible by use of a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and 2GB RAM that are paired with the 4G LTE Verizon Wireless network.

Motion Gesture on the Galaxy allows customers to initiate phone calls from text messages by lifting the phone to the head, while videos can be paused by covering the display with your hand. The S-Voice feature can be used to control apps and services using voice commands, while a picture can be taken by simply saying “Smile” or “Cheese”. The phone’s evolved camera capabilities include an enhanced 8MP rear camera with a front 1.9MP camera that comes with Burst Shot capability of capturing 20 continuous shorts with the Best Photo feature displaying the best shot.

Other features include a microSD slot for expandable memory and Mobile Hotspot that allows you to share a 4G LTE connection with up to 10 Wi-Fi enabled devices. The Samsung Galaxy S III is available in two colors and in 16GB and 32GB going for $199.99 and$249.99 respectively. A $30-monthly access subscription to 2GB of data on the 4G LTE mobile broadband data package is required.
