Good Technology, a provider of enterprise mobility solutions, has unveiled new updates for the Good for Enterprise app.
They improve productivity and other experiences for mobile workers, the company claims in a recent statement on MobilityTechzone. They also offer improved security.
Among the new features are: an upgraded user interface, tasks, calendar attachment viewing, and photo sharing.
They are offered in both iOS and Android operating system versions.
The upgrades also include: a bolder, more modern look and feel; new user interface with more colors and streamlined navigation; a secure photo Snap and Share, which lets mobile workers snap and share photos via e-mail from whiteboards or job sites; and employees can organize and track their tasks.
In addition, Good Technology now lets users make one-touch conference calls, according to a report from SC Magazine.
"With today's always-on work environment, employees need mobile business apps designed to make getting work done easier," said Laura Fay, vice president of Product Management at Good Technology. "With this release of Good for Enterprise, our customers can now offer their employees an elegant, powerful, and secure collaboration app that supports the way employees want to work using the devices they prefer.”
“Whether it's joining conference calls with one-click, preparing for meetings on-the-go or securely snapping and sharing photos, Good for Enterprise enables employees to get work done – quickly and effectively," she added.
Good Technology's customers include over 4,000 organizations. Markets include financial services, healthcare, retail, telecommunications, manufacturing, law firms and government offices.
Good products allow for security for mobile corporate-liable devices, and for employee smartphones and tablets used in bring your own device (BYOD) programs.
In addition, Good's secure Enterprise Mobility Management solutions provide data loss prevention by encrypting information at the device, app and data level.
