iQsim Makes it Easier to Send out Millions of Messages

SMS messages are important to many companies. iQsim, a France-based maker of mobile communication routers and SIM server platform products, provides key technology so that message delivery is made much easier.

In a recent interview at ITEXPO Miami, Laurent Lhermitte, iQsim’s vice president of sales, explained about the company’s products and key sales sectors.

The company’s products are often found in call centers or contact centers; corporations which want to reduce costs; or GSM operators who want to monitor the quality of service on the end user side.

When it comes to enterprises, iQsim’s “technology will allow them to send SMS at a very low cost.” In contact centers, it can be used for marketing campaigns and sending multiple SMS.

“Marketing SMS is for marketing campaigns … who want to send out hundreds of thousands or millions of SMS to many potential customers or users,” Lhermitte told Jennifer Terentiuk, marketing director at TMC, during the interview. “They will use our technology instead of working with other marketing companies or mobile operators, being able to send … one-time passwords, notifications, or sending out a marketing message or a pitch to a full database of potential customers.”

There is convenience too with iQsim products. Users do not have to handle SIM cards, with things done automatically. In addition, users can manage all applications using just one screen.

Much of the attendee attention has been on the company’s bulk SMS products with mobile communications routers.

“There is a lot of demand for bulk SMS or marketing SMS,” he added. “People want to be able to send multiple SMS … with less hassle as possible – and being able to do a follow-up also.” He speculates that those companies which fail to do a follow-up may be losing valuable business.

“Our technology will allow these marketing companies to be able to process lots of SMS, communicate very easily to all people, and get easily their answers back, to be able to deal with them afterwards,” he said.
