Accessorize and Stand Out with Simplicit's New Line of Customizable iPad Stands and Kiosks

iPad owners have a lot of options to choose from when it comes to accessorizing their devices. Whether its covers, designer kits or stands, the list is endless. You don’t believe me? Just check out eBay listings of iPad accessories and you will be amazed and fascinated at the collections. Even Apple has its very own collection of accessories that it recommends to go along with your iPad. Simplicit, a customer experience strategy firm, also wants to cash in on the accessory market and has unveiled a line of its feature-rich standalone preconfigured iPad kiosks, stands and designer kits for businesses.

Simplicit has focused on making its line of accessories truly business-like. Key features include a device locking mechanism, flexible cable management, Apple USB connector, a velvet screen protector and an acoustic sound amplifier. In addition to custom design services, Simplicit has unveiled three standard products. The SOMA Edition includes a quarter-inch aluminum plate that comes with a shielded home button and a beveled window. The Lux has an open “C” design featuring a small wedge for the iPad stability. The Lux is available in either a black or silver finish. The CoffeeTop is angular in design and considered ideal for mobile use or playing music due to its ability to flip in portrait position and comes with an integrated acoustic speaker amplifier for broadcasting product demos.

Simplicit founder Ken Zaloom said that the stands were designed to offer in-store digital experiences for high-end retailers. Simplicit has also rolled out designer kits allowing users to create their own stand solutions to fit their other device types and mount sizes for either landscape or portrait position preferences. Customization and branding that includes laser etching, clear-coat painting and silk screening company logos are also offered. The Imagination Technologies branded stands at the CES 2013 in Las Vegas was Simplicit’s workmanship.
